The Training Conference on
Approaches, Methods and Applications in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language to Children, which will include theoretical and practical courses, will be held online on
15-17 January 2024, hosted by Alanya University TÖMER.
Within the scope of the conference, training will be given by expert faculty members on the following topics:

Dear participant,
A three (3) day Training Conference on
Approaches, Methods and Applications in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language to Children will be held at Alanya University between 15-17 January 2023. Application conditions and application form are listed below.
Application Conditions:
- Participants must fit into one of the following groups:
First group – Researchers and potential researchers: Academics and undergraduate, master's or doctoral students studying in Turkey and conducting research on language acquisition or second/foreign language acquisition in children,
Second group – Students and potential teachers: Students studying in Turkey and studying at associate, bachelor's, master's or doctoral levels in the departments of child development (and education), pre-school teaching, classroom teaching or Turkish teaching,
Third group – Experienced instructors: Instructors who have taught or are teaching Turkish as a foreign language to individuals under the age of 18 at the Turkish Teaching Research and Application Centers of universities or relevant institutes and research centers.
- Not having attended a training supported by this program before,
- Registration in TÜBİTAK ARBİS database.
The first 100 people who meet these conditions will have the right to participate in the training.
Education is free of charge. You must fill out the
application form completely and submit by the end of 30 November 2023.
